We like how the music is of a fast pace and you have edited the footage to keep up with this pace. There is only one featured character but this is effective as the character is a clown which is eye catching and engaging. It is interesting how you have used the sound effect of the footsteps at the beginning to create tension building up to the face of the clown, which is quite shocking and unexpected, and this is then contasted with the fast music. It is good how you have used the main lyrics on the screen and done this in an interesting way, having the words slide across the screen keeps the audience engaged. Well done :)
This is a good music video. i like how you have used the camera as an audience point of view. e.g at 0:59 when the POV camera passes the clown on the bench, the camera stays on him as you pass drawing attention to him, but as he gets up and starts to chase the camera, there are shaky movements from a handheld cam, this makes the audience feel panicked because we cant focus on a single point, matching the style of music.
I think your ancillary tasks suit the genre and conventions of your music video well. the font you have chosen of the letter cut outs fits in with the typical ideas of a 'stalker'
Well done, the opening sequence is good and the use of effects used on the text is different. I really like the pace of this music video and how you have successfully editied it to fit in time with each section. the use of different angles is really good. I really like this music video and like how you have thought about the time of day you have recorded as well. I enjoyed watching this video!
I like the editing at the start with the wording, it builds up suspense before the pace of the video kicks in which is effective. The character in focus fits in with the genre of the music, and your use of long shots and close ups shows a diverse use of the camera. I also like the way the camera is hand held, it reflects the name of the song as it gives the impression of being stalked.
Good stuff - the opening is especially effective. The footsteps build up anticipation and the use of close up and lighting make the introduction of the clown character really dramatic. There is then a sense of a narrative as we follow the character around. The speeded-up sections are great and fit with the music. The whole piece has a lo-fi aesthetic really in keeping with the genre conventions.
